QC 165 HF

  • QC 165 HF Inhibitor is a water displacing, non-staining rust preventative which will rapidly separate water displaced from metal surfaces after machining operations or alkali cleaning
  • Leaves an ultra-thin film which will protect ferrous metals from atmospheric corrosion even under high humidity conditions
  • Does not contain barium compounds

Usage:

QC 165 HF Inhibitor is used at 100% concentration.

3. Will not build up in threads and recessed areas.
4. Dry to the touch film.

Performance:

Film Thickness – 0.05 mils

Water Displacement (MIL-C-16173E) – Pass
Sandwich Test (MIL-C-22235) – Pass

5% Salt Spray (Federal Standard 791b Method 4001.2) – Sandblasted cold rolled steel panels.

  • Qc 2213 HF @ 100% Concentration = 40-48 Days to Fail
